. Connect your TomTom device to your computer and switch it on. Click the Windows Start button Computer and then right-click the removable drive for your TomTom device. Click Properties. Select the Tools tab. Under Error checking click Check Now.
Tick both boxes and then click Start.The utility checks the device's memory and fixes possible errors. This may take several minutes (a GO 910 may take up to an hour).Once Check Disk has finished, the File Access Error should be resolved.
